Nice pix Andy.  And a pretty impressive "to do" list you've got there. I bet that GA red clay is a bear to get off the Avy though. It's been a while since I've been down that way but I do remember it well.

WHERE IT REALLY IS ABOUT THE FRIENDS AND AVY'S, AND NOT THE ALMIGHTY ADVERTISING DOLLAR!

Thanks guys! Oh yeah the clay is a bit of a PITA but the fun makes it all go away lol. Yeah the list seems a little tough but I just recently got done rebuilding a 2002 5.3 with ported heads, cam, new hyperutectic pistons, LS6 intake blah blah blah lol for my old 2003 S10 Xtreme I had before my Avy. I love working on the LS motors.

I bet that GA red clay is a bear to get off the Avy though. It's been a while since I've been down that way but I do remember it well.

In case you don't know, here's a couple of tricks that make it easier to take clay off: 1) spray the truck down with Pam cooking spray 2) Spray it down with WD40. Take it to a car wash as soon as you're done and the clay comes off easily.

And BTW: welcome to the club.
