DynoLock Installed

The wife got tired of having to use the key everytime to open the tailgate to get her saddle out. So for Valentine's Day I ordered the Dynolock High Security electric lock and installed it tonight. It was amazingly easy. Hardest part was convincing myself to go ahead and cut the tailgate. Even hooking up to the door lock wires was easy. I installed it so it unlocks on the 2nd push of the fob. Sorry, no pics, it was too dark. However Dynolocks website has some good pics and the video they have on there is good as well. There was someone else that had some great pics of their 02 as they was doing the mod, I'll see if I can find it and post the address.


forgot to mention that on the 06, not sure about other years, but you don't need a long drill bit. I drilled the hole with a standard bit and then stuck in a 10" screwdriver to see where the 2nd wall was and there wasn't one. Ran the wires through with no roblem.

I was waiting for that from somebody. I didn't take any pics because it was getting dark and I had a mess out there in the garage so it wouldn't have been too good of pics. It works great though. I bet I stood terr for at least 5 minutes cycling it back and forth.

Found it. He's got quite a few cool mods going on.

My next mod is the sail panel lights. I should have my Radio Shack LED's in the mail any day now.

Nice find. The sails took me 3 hrs to complete. Used the radioshack LED's too :thumb:

Where did you get your sails from? I'm thinking of those as well, just a little pricey right now. I'd rather get the exhaust done first.
