Topic: Interior bulb #'s for 2010 z71?

I am new to this site and i just traded my 2002 Z71 in and bought a 2010 Z71...first thing i wanna do is change the interior map and dome lights as well as the puddle and license plate bulbs to LED's. HELP!!! i cant find the bulb numbers anywhere

Thanks!!! i had the back up lights on my 02 av changed to the led's and even though they looked great they weren't nearly as bright as the original ones. i have the back up camera so do u know if the led's will light up the rear of the truck enough at night with the back up camera?

Hmm, good question. I have the back ups and an aftermarket camera in mine and it seems like it works pretty good. I have my camera above the hitch though instead of the TG bezel so that might make a difference.

That looks like it will work for everything but the puddle lamp. I'll have to look at our resources to see if I can find a part number. That bulb is hard to find in any manuals.

Well dang it, I found the pix for replacing the puddle lamp but havn't found the actual bulb number yet. It looks like it's the same bulb that in the courtesy lamp in the door panel. Might be best to pull it out and get the number off of it.

Hey guys, thanks for the info..the sylvania website looks like it answers all my questions except for the puddle light but there is no rush.  thanks again and ill have to look some more for the puddle light number

just pulled the puddle lights out and they appear to be the same bulb (194) as the rear license plate for a 2010 Z71. just ordered the super white LED's for interior maps, license plate and puddle lights

Those super whites will make a difference.

yeah, i agree! i had all my interior bulbs changed to the super whites on my old 02 av except i put the blue leds in the puddle lights on that truck as well.  the blue puddle lights were cool for awhile but i decided to  go with the super whites all the way around.  now im just waitin to get my registration from dmv so i can go get it inspected and then tint out the fronts to match the rears. anyone know what percentage to use to match the rears?
