Carbon Fiber overlay

ive been trying to overlay my wood trimed dash with carbon fiber paper tape but the edges of the paper arnt sticking to edges of the pieces..any ideas on how to take those dash trim pieces off..or just how to take the dash apart period. its an 08 with the navigation screen.

im getting tired of that wood tone

It should pull straight off. BlueDevil posted something a while back for that with a diagram. I'm almost out the door for work else I'd dig it up for you.
