sticker on my first avalanche was 36k which was an 02 z66. I didn't buy it brand new but I did have the sales sheet.

Got my black diamond this weekend.  My first new vehicle.  Sticker was about 46k, but I talked them down to about 43 out the door and on the road.  The manager told me he couldnt do any better if I bought 100 of them.  So psyched.  I love it.  Wondering where to start on Mods, mine is black LT with the all star package, so 20" rims and chrome door handles and mirrors, 2 speed transfer case, etc.  The dealers seem to be getting a deal on the all star package, as there were very very few without it, and I called 6 or 7 dealerships.  I went in wanting the blue, but didnt like it with the chrome accents.  The black looks so bad ass.

Thanx for the purchase info. I'm afraid to look into pricing one out, even though I know its well out of my range. Sounds like you got a hell of a deal!

Seen the blue and feel the same as you...  Black is the way to go!
