I can get an awesome deal on a superchip prog........but

so I've been looking around, and I can get an awesome deal on a Superchips prgrammer #2715, now when I look up the part number is comes up as GM/Chevy 96-03 4.8L, 5.3L........blah blah blah, now my conundrum is I have the 04 Chevy 5.3L and some sites I go to list 2715 as compatible with the 04 5.3's and some sites dont and say for the 04-06 the serial number is 2815.  Just curious if anyone could shed a littlebit of light on this for me.

I would call them directly to get clarification so you don't buy the wrong one. I know some programmers only work for certain years. The Predator I use only works on 2 or 3 certain years.

upon reading further, I think I am just gonna save another cpl paychecks for the Diablo Predator, read it changes the tune more aggresively than the Superchip.

I've always used Superchips Never a problem, Easy to use and now with the MPG program I'm getting better MPG's now up to Avg 14.2

Enkie ... be sure and turn off Traction control ... that will help about 1-3 miles per gallon ... I have the Evolution from Edge and with my TC off I'm around 16-18 ..... depending on how I drive it .....
