Getting my Bowtie painted, finally.
« on: April 19, 2010, 10:25:52 AM »
Well the truck is in the shop today getting a new front bumper cover (wife's fault  banghead1 ) and I'm getting the bowtie painted the same color as the truck, SOM. I'll post some pics when i get it back. There are a lot of guys doing something with the front bowtie. What about the back one? I know it's more of a pain in the  :ass1000: to take it off, at least on the '07 (double sided tape I think).

Thanks BD, that doesn't seem too difficult. We'll have to see what the front looks like first.

Ive read where peeps have just taped off the whole backend and painted it on the truck also.

No way, too scared. I had to get the front bumper cover replaced so I had the shop paint the bowtie while they were at it. I kind of like it so I may have to see what I can do for the back one.

It looks very good.  I like how it blends with the powerbar :coolsmiley:

Thanks, I'm glad I left the black around the bowtie, istead of getting it painted too.
