Just got off the phone with Stylin'Concepts.

Ordered a set of Beltech 2" drop spindles with 2 Toxic shocks :thumb:

I have no clue. I think he said is made by Pro Comp. I asked for the best shocks for my setup and that what he suggested.

I have no clue. I think he said is made by Pro Comp. I asked for the best shocks for my setup and that what he suggested.

ok, just wondering. I've seen folks get the spindles, then buy shocks for a dropped vehicle and the shocks end up being too short. Lots of folks forget that with the spindles, the suspension remains the same as stock.

That being said,i didnt need the shocks then? Cuz after i hung up the phone i got to think.... hey! i dont think i need the shocks. But i may be wrong. Anywho...i can always send them back i guess.

Interesting, I hadn't thought about that before but your right it would need stock length shocks unless it's lowered more than just the spindles.

need? depending on your milage, probably not. If you have less than 50-60K miles, you can live without them.

If you're happy with the ride you have now, send them back, or just keep them for when you actually need them.

With my set up (2" drop spindles and t-bars bottomed out for 4+" drop), I still have stock shocks with no problems. I know with 130K miles, I need them, but haven't bothered replacing them.

Gotcha. I have 31k on mine. Im hanging on to them then. Maybe ill have the shop replace them too. This is the only mod i wont put my hands on. Hehehehe i dont know how.

Went to Sears last week and eyeballed this compressor and air tool kit. I didnt make a move on it.

These are the installation sheet for a Z71 2" drop spindles.

I recieved a copy of these with the spindles. I did a search and found 'em online.

Anywho..... on page 4 it appears to show/say that you can lower the front 5" :o by tweaking the control arms and ball joints. I think theres no need to add drop keys combined to get down to 5" like Mr.Smith did.

I have the same set up as smitty. He got the idea from me (I'm sure I wasn't the first to do it though). The only difference is that with his drop, he started out with the drop keys, wanted to go lower then added the spindles. With mine, I started out with the spindles and just adjusted the heck out of my stock keys until they bottomed out. We didn't measure, but his does seem to sit a lil lower. But its hard to tell because nothing is the same on the fronts of our trucks.... I have an airdam, he doesn't... I have the raim air hood, he doesn't... he has the plastic fender thingies, I don't.

If I go lower, I think I'm gonna start cutting stuff and bag it.

Made an appointment today w/the shop for tomorrow 9AM. $250 for the spindles,alignment,wheels rotated adn replacing the keys back to stock.
