There has been a ton of talk about doing this for the past couple years. The couple times that we included camping in with a GTG, it turned out to be a lot of fun...so this time I am planning a GTG around a Camping trip.

***The Owners are holding the Cabins, Yurts and sites until April 30th. Please contact them and get locked in.***

Here is the plan, we will all camp together in their club area. The cabins are right behind the club area. There is also a Pavillion that we can have for a Saturday Picnic.

We could make this a long weekend event like 2009's Summersville, WV trip.

Ok, So I had to google to see what the heck a yurt is. If it gets set up for the first weekend (June 4-6th) we're in

I'm sure we'll be bringing the Avy as we'll have to bring a lot of food and modding stuff for the weekend. We'll just use the Avy tent we have so whatever kind of a spot we would need for that is what we would use.

We'll see where this goes and maybe start a separate Modding thread to keep track of everything if it gets to be a big event. If not, we can update the first post here.

I'll go with the first weekend also. I'd be interested in a cabin or yurt, it's basically a tent on a platform , kinda hard to describe.... After seeing the pics of WVa ,definitely want to go to one !!

It will be great to meet you. The owners at the campground are big sports fans. Last year they pulled the blow up big screen out for the Pens games...

Now I just need to convince the wife that we need to make a trip to OH via PA. If not, I might make it alone - she's very limited on her vacation time an we have a week already scheduled.

They told me the other day they have a family function that weekend. Graduation I think.

I may be changing my reservation to 1/2 cabin if I hear back from someone pretty soon.

Camper owners...

What are you feelings on moving down to the club area? This would be right with the cabins and the Pavilion.

Pros:

close to pavilion
brand new bathhouse is a stones throw away
we can all be together
Avy's will be right there

Cons:

No Sewage
we can all be together

, it looks like we twisted Moosc's wrist enough when we saw him in the rest area that he is now on the attending list

Food sounds great. We have the pavilion that is huge so if you are tight on space no need to bring the EZ up.

Regarding the massage...I will put her down for it. Unless there are more people signed up, we will have to see her schedule.

She's not getting the full over due to me doing it next weekend before the trip to Myrtle...

But she is shiny and pretty.

Didn't put anything on the cladding being that we will be messing with it.
