I honestly don't know. I've never seen one added and didn't think to look at Moosc's a few weeks ago when I saw him.

Would need to find a diagram elsewhere, like if the originator were to post it here. Copywrite stuff.

I'll find someone that has done it and gets some pix. How about asking your room mate to snap a few for us?

Here are some pics of my cabin air filter install. I used a utility knife to cut the hole. It's not easy and you need to use a new sharp blade. A dremel might be easier.

The first 4 pics show the plate I made installed.
1st Yes, I used a wood screw.
2nd Where the tab inserts toward the front of the AV.
3rd The existing boss the screw goes into.
4th The weather stripping on the plate.

To remove the area of weather strip that would have contacted the filters I installed the plate and cut inside of the depression made by the edges of the hole.

These next two pics show the filters installed. There is a rig around where the hole needs to be cut. On vehicles with factory installed filters the hole is just long enough to fit the filter. I cut the hole a little farther to the front so I could grab the filter that gets pushed in and to the front of the vehicle a bit easier.

Now for the dimensions of the plate.
11 3/4" x 1 7/16" x 1/8"

The plate could have been a little wider or narrower, I just happened to find a piece that wide.

The notches that form the tab are cut 1/4" from the end and the tab is 15/16" wide.
