I am trying to figure out a way to make it ride right without having to do too much. I am looking at buying a rv trailer soon and dont want it looking retard when i pass someone in a ford pulling nothing. lol. i like to embrass. anyway, what have you guys tried? any tips? thanks

New, higher rate springs but they will ride rougher. They would probably cost you somewhere between $250-$300. They are an easy install.

For trailer towing the best thing you could do is get a set of airbags that go inside the coils. When towing you air them up and they keep the rear from sagging excessively. Unloaded you run minimal pressure in them. Somebody here (Donnie?) has a set on their truck.

i have been looking at these, and thinking about doing something like it, or just going all out for air bags in the back, which is about 1400, for the kit.

The Airlift bags are exactly what I was talking about and that's all you'll need.

I guess it never hurts to try something, if they dont work well, i will let you guys know, i tow alot of heavy items, and need something to level it out better. i think i have worn out the old springs, i should probably replace them sometime too.

I've got my stock set sitting in the attic in the garage. Bring me $50 and they are yours. You get new springs a lot cheaper than new and I get a little cash - win-win for both of us. They were replaced with less than 20K miles on them and they were never towed on.

I'm thinking it's Richie that has the bags on his. I know he has a decent size camper.
