Sirus Sat Radio, new tires courtsy GM Customer SVC. chrome front bow tie, lighted front bow tie licnse plate.I have no roof rack, plenty room for a lightbar/antenna/what ever! I can stick up there. I am looking forward to some fun with my truck and good friends. Is there a HAZING for joining? would be fun though! I hope this is a good start to hang around some good people. :aa: Brian In Zion! Thanks for the greetings. :thumb:It was great seeing all the pictures of what folks have done to their Avalanches. I am really impressed with some of the creativity and "[personalization." that is one of the thins that makes this vehicle so much fun - to say nothing as to its "class" and superior mechanics.I need to get a pic of my 2007 Silver Birch (Black leather interior ) AVY on line I can see that now. So far: Came with - sun run; heated seats; power everything; tilt mirrors (in/out & up/down) ; GPS; BOSE sound system; DVD player; - all you guys know that stuff that comes with a fully loaded LT. Some have written about the 2007 not quite being a true AVY due to the lack of cladding and/or its apparent lack of ground clearance. I guess that can be like so many things - as things change there is a move from the traditional to try something different. As for me -- I am just impressed by the overall impact the AVY provides - not only from the impressive interior and all the amenities; but the ride; comfortability; versatility and many other elements that remain consisten throughout the AVY history. However, I have learned from the more expereinced AVY owner - I will not try to take my 2007 "off road" without considering some very serious modifications! Until then, I am content to "cruise" in the comfort of this baby and try to figure out what my next birthday present can be to put on it.I have added: CAT Back exhaust; GM enhanced intake system; fire & ice LEDs on back; 48 " amber LEDs on running boards (R/L turn signal, as well); AVALANCHE Chrome Bumper/Brush grill;12 spoke 20" GM chrome wheels; two SKR 8" fog lights mounted on bumper/brush grill; front/rear mud flaps; chrome gas cover, and looking forward to seeing all you others have so I can get some additional ideas.Bottom line for me - at 57 years old, and having owned a number of vehicles over the years, this is by far the best vehicle I have purchased for the dollar - - ever. With 100,000 warranty and V8/V4 engine I am doing very well at gas pump. Then - top it off with E-85 gas prices - well, it just sealed the deal. I am honored to be among folks who have also made the right choice -- no matter what year - cladded or not - it is still a great SUV- with the finest of features. Stew

This my first post on this site but after yesterday's GTG, I'll be following this site closer as well.
Hey everyone! Just cruising the internet before the super bowl and checked out the site. I'm sure some of you know me - I've run into Strobin before. My next gtg plans are for the Music City Mayhem gtg in Nashville in May, but I'll probably make an appearance somewhere else before then.M1

Hello everyone, Really excited to see a Midwest Avalanche Club. I don't own an Avalanche yet myself, but hoping to in 2008. (Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Heh) Anywho, looking forward to talking to you all and even in the future, maybe meeting a few of you.-ChevyFreak
Thanks tdybr27! :DMy name's Brad, and I'm from Prescott, WI. I work near Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. I joined the Chevy Avalanche fan Club 2 weeks ago when I got my Avy, and I see the Midwest banner on some sigs, so I checked it out, and here I am! As I type this, my '07 LTZ is in the shop getting the hood wet sanded & buffed to get tree sap from the dealer off. They're also installing mud flaps and Amber DRL's. I can't wait to pick it up this afternoon - should be ready by 4:30 or so. ;D
Hey all, Mike here in Canton, Ohio. I just picked up an 04 last sat. (sept 28th). Have been wanting one for a while and the deal just worked great, (that and my suburban was dying at 107,000 miles.) I hope I can pick up some pointers and maybe get some ideas from the av fanatics. Wouldn't mind a few gtg's every now and then also.
