Didit,

From my personal, non-moderator, non local cruise coordinator, perspective, I find the cross-links to be annoying.  The poster assumes that everyone here has an interest and/or access to the site he/she is linking to.  In a perfect world, it wouldn't be a problem.  Unfortunately, the world isn't perfect, and so this is a problem.

Nobody ever said it was a perfect world, at one point in time though cross linking was rather permissable and used to an advantage, however with politics being involved that is no longer possible for the average person!

Anyone with Sail Panel Light expertise think they may have some time to look at mine.  Right side works fine on runnning, brake and turn--left side has 3 lights on in park, but no turn, brake or running lights.  If not, that's cool!  Thanks!

I can take a look, although mine are just wired as running lights.  Besides having stayed at a Holiday Inn Express a time or 2, I do have a degree in Electrical Engineering so hopefully we can figure it out.  If you send me a wiring diagram before we meet that would be helpful so that I know how it is supposed to be wired.  I'll send you my email in a PM.

I've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express a few times and came out of it just as ignorant about electricity as I was when I went in.  If it is beyond a simple red and black wire, I'm lost!  Maybe when it was when I was trying to hook up a ceiling fan one time and got shocked off the ladder.  I think there has been lasting effects.  I have been talking to Didit and I think we may have the problem under control.  Feel free to supervise and lend your expertise though.  Thanks Maiin!!

Hey Didit,

We're now 1 week out from this, and I was looking for the where and when details.  What time are planning on getting there, and will it be obvious when I get to where you are describing how to find you?

We should be there about 11 if all goes well, lol.    Look for the other Avalanches would be a good guess,  haha no designated parking, but we'll try to be somewhat away from the others, I think you recognize me with no troubles!  Will probably try and tackle Ski's lighting problem right off the bat provided he's there!   Take note Ski, lol.

I was notified today of a time change for the egg hunts, so please adjust accordinly if you were bringing a youngster for the egg hunt, nothing worse than promising a youngin a vist with the easter bunny and then find out your a couple of hours late!  We will still be there 11 or a bit before, we have eight reserved parking spots and should we need more I dont see that being a problem.

Thanks

Mike

Sitting in my room at the beautiful Gasthof Village Inn.  There is a threat of rain tonight and early morning, but supposed to clear up.  The Easter egg hunts will be at the Restaurant.  Come in the entrance and go straight and it will be off to the right side.  The hunts will be at designated times, but in case of rain, the Easter Bunny will be in the Loft at the restaurant for pictures with the kids and there will be drawings.  The lady had no idea where our parking spots will be, but I will ask in the morning and advise.  I imagine that we will be somewhere close to the restaurant.  PM me if you need any more info.  I will go ahead and park over by the restaurant in the morning.  Didit has my cell #.  PM me if you need any more info.

It was a grand day after all, after the rain blew away, the timing could not have been better.  It was nice to see you again MainOne and MinorOne, and meet you Ski, will see you again in a month, hey MainOne, wanna go camping Mothers Day weekend?  Right down the road from ya at Lincoln State Park.   Its the people that show  up  to  these GTG's that deserve all the credit, you guys are the ones that make em work.   Heres a few pics that  were takin, 6 AV's and 23 people for dinner.

The parking lot from both ends with reserved parking, woohoooo

We did have a good time.  Shopping was a little less than expected (wife's quote), but good people, nice trucks and great food!!  Main One was in high places putting on a little R&R on his cladding.

I'm lovin how Ol Yeller looks with the finish restorer!  Thanks a bunch to CntrySngr72 for giving me his can and a rag.  It makes the truck look GREAT!  The picture of me putting it on is when I was starting, so that is pretty much a before shot.  The cladding is much blacker now and a much better contrast to the yellow.

Um, Didit, I think I see some love in that Easter Bunny's eyes as you are sitting by him/her?  We don't need a bunch of Didit Bunnies running around down here.  You keep that stuff up in central Indiana!  We don't need any "hybrids" in southern Indiana!

18x10 Forged Weld Wheels, BFG g-Force KDWs, JBA shorties, custom catback with FM70, Crane plug wires, Trailblazer Torque Converter, bigger cam, efans, HP Tuners custom tune, WAAG stuff, mildly boosted with Vortech Supercharger.......

And to think I carry a can of that stuff in my saddlebag. We could have done it at Bratfest last fall. That can that Steve has is one of the spares I had he bought off of me at Bratfest '08

Yeah...almost time for another can...a buddy of mine spilled it a couple months after I got it...he gave me $25 for that 'accident' though...still had 2/3 of the can left at the time...not anymore though.  :needhug:
