Im looking into getting cat back put on. Single to dual! Please respond after you voted with which muffler series you went with of that brand. Videos and sound clips are welcome also!

I think it was $90.  The expensive side is selecting tips.  I have duals and i think i paid $100ea :shocked:

I think the total $425.

Just know, the 40 series will drone in the cab @2000 rpm's.

The 70 series wont but i didnt like it :evil5:    I had it for 6 months then took it off and sold it to a coworker for $40.

I found this one on youtube...   I was supposed to have my very special flowmaster 40 muffler " :cacrocks" " installed this weekend but I ran out of mod cash :( 

Guess I'll have to wait till next week.

I had the Flowmaster 40 with Magnaflow tips put on. I had both tips brought out just behind the passenger rear wheel. Looks and sounds great I think.

I had the aluminized Gibson Dual Extreme on my truck for 6-7 years but recently changed it out for a single out Hooker Maximum Flow because I recently added a cam and wanted maximum exhaust flow. I liked the Gibson; it had a nice sound at idle and had a nice growl when you had your foot in it but was quiet and had zero drone.

Exhaust is a very personal thing; drone in the cab doesn't bother some people but drives others nuts. The best thing you could do is attend a large GTG and listen to as many different systems as you can - take a ride, don't just listen to idle and revving.

I have the FM 40 Series and I get noticeably less cab noise when I ran them out the back as opposed to out the sides.    :coolsmiley:
