Due to the new tinted tail light covers, I'm looking at changing my tail lights to LEDS.  I realize I'll need resistors for the brakes and the turn signals.....my question is this.....with the tinted covers, do I use red LEDS or white?  Also do I go with a one directional bulb, or a bulb that has side lights too?

From what I've seen people have been using the red version with the sidelights like these:



I'm going to be getting Red LED's too
