Did you know? The uncladded model, known as the Without Body Hardware (or better by its acronym 'WBH'), and alternatively called 'slicksides' by GM marketers.

...btw, nice decal.
Long story--put the small one on there because the big one was applied in a semi-inebriated state and didn't look good with all the BIG air bubbles!!
That sux. ...always use dishsoap & water and a squeegee on large ones.
I think I like it black. The red may be a little too much sticking up there by itself.Just my
I dont have that look
Smartass!!
lol.... You know what? Try Line-X on the wing. I would think it may be a close match and it will give you the textured look like the clad.If you still dont like it, you can always sand it down again.
Sounds like a spring project. My goal right now is to get the grill fixed/painted or replaced...............and maybe a couple of decals to keep me busy!!
Stay busy this spring....I used the aerosol can behind my rollpan when i failed to tell my painter to do this.http://www.duplicolor.com/products/truckbed.html
I like the Black look. Donnie nailed it when he said it would clash too much. Then again...doesn't look right with the rack...need to remove either one and give it to me.
You need some Decals? I will have Tons after Feb 21st.....
As for the Wing I like it painted to match..
I think it would look better if the red part was black too!! ALL BLACK!!!!!!!
thinking of powercoating the whole truck?
Damn---I thought it was beer and a pocket knife!! That's what FH told me!!
The beer and the pocket knife method worked well for me!!!! Your problem is you didn't have enough beer brother!!!
My vote is for black also. Why don't you just buy a couple of cans of spray-on Gatorblack? I used the 02 gray for my 4-fenders and, while it's not an exact match, you wouldn't notice unless you were really looking.
Does the gator spray-on leave a texture?
You could also try the Krylon Fusion. It is made for plastic. I used it on my PT Cruiser's bumpers and they turned out great.
I used some Black on my grill, but it turned out too shiny for that application. I've already got about 10 shades of black going on as it is. It did go on verynice though. I used the Satin and not the gloss, but it was still too shiny. Whatever I do, I want to fade it into the cladding pieces if I stay with black.
I'M SO READY FOR A GTG!!!! IS BRATFEST HERE YET????????????????????
Hey,,wake up the TN group, I'm sure they're ready for at least a Hooters trip.
