I'm a Z66 owner, not a Z71 owner, but when I was buying my AV in 03, the Z71 package was an offroad package, while the Z66 package was titled the Premium Onroad Package.  At the time, the Z71 package included 4-wheel drive, locking rear differential, 17 vice 16 inch wheels/tires, skidplates, and probably things like carpet floor mats.  A few years ago, Chevy started to offer the Z71 package without 4 wheel drive.  It was still an offroad package, but it obviously was not what it was.  What year is your AV?

18x10 Forged Weld Wheels, BFG g-Force KDWs, JBA shorties, custom catback with FM70, Crane plug wires, Trailblazer Torque Converter, bigger cam, efans, HP Tuners custom tune, WAAG stuff, mildly boosted with Vortech Supercharger.......

I'm guessing both trucks are in the 1500 series?

knowing the years might help.
I believe all the old body style are the same, new body style has 4 and 2 wheel drive.
