Does any one have one? Is best to pay some one to do it? Also is plug and play or splicing and dicing the factory harness? Any have a viper system?

I used to tinker with them 20 years ago and they were a pretty decent system then. Cars were also a lot simpler then though. :rolleyes: I wouldn't have any idea what the install process would be like on one of our trucks without looking at the install manual that comes with it.

Question. Do you have a viper system already installed? I did a little homework on the smart start before I had anything installed. The first thing is that it doesn't work with all viper systems. I did get the entry level system that will work so I can add the smart start later. I don't think it's plug and play so I'd take it to a shop you trust. I'm kind of on the fence about getting one. At $250, it's a little steep....
