Remote Start ?????

I have spent two days trying to install a remote start in my 02 AVA and I tell you , I don't know how anyone can do this and try to make any money at it because it stinks!  banghead1  I have everything wired but it will not lock or unlock and when it starts it will only run for a second and then die. Whats the deal ?  :wtf: Any ideas ?  Its a Directed Electronics 4103 kit with the DLPKGM door lock passkey interface.

Your '02  might have different wiring than what your install manual says you can use.

It will not trigger the door lock motor . It flashes the lights as it should with the fob during lock and unlock just doesnt trigger the locks.  And it ddoes not stay running.

Ok,,found the install instructions. Do you have 2 ignition wires that need hooked up? I don't doubt your abilities, just wondering if you missed something on this.

Yep , starter 1 - yellow .  ign -1 pink and ign -2 white   12v - red  acc 1 orange . acc 2 brown .   I got all the basic stuff and allot of the not so basic stuff but there must be one or two wires I'm missin.
