Topic: Neon tube possibilty

Hey fellas. This question is for the neon pros like yourselves.

I installed a set of blue neons 'bout a month ago and left the switch hanging on the floorboard ( havent had a chance to relocate it yet).

My question is,....is it possible instead of using the switch,hot-wire to the parking sensor? I want the lights to come "ON" when in park and keys in the ignition. Then to turn "OFF" when in drive.

  Does that make any sense?   How can this be done?

First off you're probably going to need a relay to turn the neon on and off because even though the kit doesn't draw a lot of power it might be more then the stock wiring in AV can handle. 

Not knowing 03+ wiring I'm not sure where you could tap in for that.

Any kind of relay? I dont know anything about relays.  size? or?....

Im looking into it this week with autozone.

I figured that would be a cool feature to have when pulling up at a gas station or anywhere when in park mode.
