Definitely bright.

Higher the number the more color (blue) you get, if you want more white light then go with the lower numbers 5000-6000K

Ill get them for the stockers. Cant use HID on Halos.

Yeah as long as it's 9006 bulb . . . those cases are removed before you install them.

when i installed them the light dont come on. in the owners manual it said it could be the fuse upgrade to 15A for each lamp but my av already comes with 15A and every thing is plug and play female male connections
i thought it could be a an igniter because the kit didnt include one

Obviously he did something wrong or the kit is defective. Whats an igniter anyway?

Ro had problems kicking his on, but it ended up that all you have to do is connect the stock bulb connector the opposite way (this worked for me too as my 2nd set of HID's didnt' want to light)

Did anyone post or PM that guy on TOS "fjc" to turn the connector around on his HID's to see if they worked for him? I went to the thread and he didn't say anything about them after. I'm very close to finally getting these and I wanna make sure they aren't garbage.

I got an email from seller. Obviously i forgot to choose what type of bulb i wanted. Of course,i want 8000k. :thumb:

I'm sure it was just flipping the connector. I initially wired mine using the tab and locking clip only to realize that we're the odd wired ones and have to flip the connector.

Mine arrived today but damn it needs to warm up before I install them, don't want the ballasts to fall off. Might test them out on the AV and make sure it works.

Haha awesome yeah I get flashed (not that kind) about 2-3 times a week and once by CPD so that's what the HID projector project is for. Gotta get my AV legal again

My lows are 9006. I forgot what my fogs are for a 2004. I think they're 915 or 815 or i dont know.Something like that.

Finally put mine in and snapped some quick pics with my phone. Batteries are charging for my camera for the Auto show tomorrow so maybe I'll get some good shots then. I like them so far, gonna have to see what they look like at night and see how many times I get flashed. :thumb: 8)

That wouldn't be a bad idea and not that hard to make possible either. Time to start hunting for a cheap set of yellow HID's . . . call them Super-DRL's

Head out yesterday afternoon I get on the highway and there's traffic, next thing I drive over something (but the weird thing was that i didn't see anything on the road in front of me) pulled over and checked under the car, nothing really looked out of place. . . later that night I go to turn my fog HID's on to go home and only one goes on, so i figure that either the bulb was dead or my connector had fallen off. So i head home put it in the garage and take a closer look, i see the stock connector and the HID bulb connector (other one got ripped off) . . . . my ballast fell out and i drove over it DOH! . . . .well I get to try out another set now . . .$80 shipped for this one we'll see.

Haha no, i was doing like 10mph when it fell out . . .the double-sided tape gave out on it . . . guess I'll have to bolt them in next time

i know the cac website has considered this a dead topic, but I found a site that has what i seem to think are good HID's. its at luminics.com and I think I might get mine from there. just a few questions: one, will my all on high mod do damage to my truck/HID bulbs when its on? and two, i was thinking about getting jdm yellow fog lights; good idea, or bad idea? let me know (especially if theres anything else im missing, :P) Thank you!

I've got the all on high with hids in the low beams. Silverstars in the high beam so I can still use my Flash2Pass.
No problems there.
And, I do have 3500 bulbs (yellow) for fog lights. You lose some illumination but they cut the fog better than white lights.

sounds like a plan. what kelvin are the lows rated at? do they match to a T the silverstars? and would the yellow fogs look ok for the WBH avy? thank you!

Blue Devil changed out his WBH housings for yellow ones. Check out his pix gallery. I went with 8k 55w in mine after the body lift as the 6k's were not helping much.
It's the higher voltage balast that helped me out. The are whiter than the SS's in the high beams.

i looked at his "variety" of lighting pics, lol, and it looks sweet like that. so ill have to decide what i want to do after a little research, and i shouldnt have a problem ordering and installing them when the time is right. thank you!

They're the ultras and I wont spend the money on them again. Just not worth it over stock bulbs IMO.
