Topic: Anyone have a picture of the inner roof without the headliner?

 I have a long overhead console out of a 98 chevy pickup that I want to put in my avy but would like to see if the slots are there for the rear tabs on the console, I can look up through the domelight hole but am not sure the holes I see are what I need. (or if anyone has installed one of these that would be great too.)

I doubt the correct slots for the tabs are there.  And if their are slots there they probably won't line up right.

I put one in a short cab and the slots were there, I assume you have not had the headliner out of a Avy? Looking for some real world input.

I think right now your best bet is gonna be Alaska Av. I think he has had every part known to man out of his.

Im almost positive that will fit.  That ceiling looks just like my 04.


.....but hey, usualy Im 50% wrong .


If the 98 is like the 2002, should fit then.   Same roof line.

Tuff,    if it was a '99, then it should fit.

I guess I just need to know if the rear foles are in the inner panel for the two tabs to slide into, Contour is great, Front screw hole lines up - Just need to verify the slots for the tabs.

Everyone gets to try a mod first. We've got a thread around here to post if you're the first person to do a mod. Sounds like you may get that chance. I wish I could be more helpful with it but I havn't ventured that far with mine. I also have a sunroof so that's a mod I couldn't do.
