Anyone know if this same kit would work on a 2WD 05?  I don't see anything for the 2WD 05's on that site!

The older trucks use a different torsion bar key to level them.  Often called a ford key.  I guess it comes from a ford, but I'm not sure about that.

The keys I don't believe are too expensive.  Supposed to use a special tool to do it, although I think many have gotten the job done with a c-clamp.  Need to get an alignment done afterwards.

18x10 Forged Weld Wheels, BFG g-Force KDWs, JBA shorties, custom catback with FM70, Crane plug wires, Trailblazer Torque Converter, bigger cam, efans, HP Tuners custom tune, WAAG stuff, mildly boosted with Vortech Supercharger.......

I don't know about the ride being softer, but generally, if you upgrade to anything polyeurethane on suspension, expect a harsher ride.  If your AV is equipped with the Autoride suspension system, I think he means it may not be as responsive with the installation of the poly blocks.

Had a Scirocco 16v back in the day that I outfitted with poly bushings all around and while the vehicle was stable, the ride was teeth shattering....I felt ever pebble in the road.

Look around at other suspension shops and see what they say about aligning your AV properly.

well he didnt say the ride would be tougher  and as of now i havent felt any more bumps than i used to, its just theres more play in the steering.. not too much that a person who never drove the truck would say he felt it, but enough for my to notice. but deffinetly not alot

Yeah, I've heard of F*rd Keys...  I've seen them going for about $35 each (if I remember correctly).  I forget if it was here or somewhere else that someone had posted a walkthrough on replacing theirs.  Not something I'd be willing to do myself, but would be willing to help someone do it for me.  :evil5:
