Here's the one with the 5.5" backspacing

Notice the difference in the lip and the slope of the spokes. I'm going with the 5.5.

Glad you like them Boomer. If you hadn't talked more about them I prolly would have gone with the 6" bs. Once I got to Summit and compared them side by side the difference is very obvious. They're in the back of the Avy now. :cheesy1:  Now to get the shoes for them. Avy goes in on Monday and they're saying two weeks for completion. Should be a nice touch when it's done.

The one you picked has the center bore drilled for a Toyota but it is supposed to come with a 78mm to 106 mm centering ring adapter. Just make sure they are included. With +12mm offset and 5.5" backspacing that should give you around 3" of wheel depth appearance.

Damn. Gonna have to check on that when I get back to the garage after work. Thanks.

I hit the same thing when putting the Black Rocks on mine. One other thing to check is the lug nuts. Be sure the lugs for the new wheels are long enough to seat the wheel against the hub. The wheel studs are very long on the Ava and depending on the wheel mounting thickness the lug nut may bottom out before tightening the wheel leaving you with two options longer lug nuts or adding a 1/4" to 1/2" wheel spacer. My Black Rocks wouldn't tighten but they use a center cap covering the lugs so we milled the cap end off the lug nut and they seated then. I had maybe an 1/8" between the end of the stud and the center cap so I had to still mill the lug nuts so the center cap would fit.

My 17x8 Black Rocks Type D 909S

Those Nomads will look sweet with the cladding.

I'll test fit one of them this weekend while I'm tearing the truck apart in preparation for it's trip to the shop on Monday.

Oh, the only Black Rock wheel that fit my taste didn't come in a six lug pattern.
