They should look good on yours. What about the custom centers twiggy did? She going to so some for these too?
Question, with the look of the bead lock how would the weights be attached when the tires are balanced? Stick on weights?
I'm thinking of selling my Denali wheels to get a set of these. Summit Nomads. A guy at work put these on an F-250 that he had and I thought they'd match the cladding perfect. Any thoughts?
i have all my weights installed on the back side no fugly weights on my stock wheels.. oh OBB buy the wheels ill test them out for u..
Do you have a good pic of the Denali wheels and what size are they? Thanks! I've got the wheels spining on some new wheels/tires. Thanks again!
I use equal balance in my rims and tires . Its a powder based weight that goes inside the tire and rim befor airing the tire . Works great and no weight marks anywhere on the rim. And no stick on weights flying off in the winter. Love the wheels OBB send pics when you get them.
That bonus mod money startin to burn a hole eh? That Ultra Nomad was the wheel I was going to put on my nekked white one until I saw one of the 17x9 for the Avalanche in person. It didn't look the same as the picture. It didn't have hardly any depth to it on the outside. The Nomad that they use in almost all the pictures is the 15x10 which gives it a totally different look which was the look I wanted. I did my homework on offset and back spacing and found the Black Rock 17x8 that I put on mine had a deeper lip and looked wider than the 17x9 Nomad. I also found out that most all Ultra wheels are made in China. Black Rocks in USA. If you look enough you can find a picture of how the different sizes of the Nomad look to each other. If you can fit the wider wheel I think it looks a bunch better than the 8" and 9" ones. The picture you posted is the 10" wide wheel.
Take the pic from your post and do a google search for Ultra Nomad. I think the first pic that pops up is the 17x9 you can then compare the two side by side and you'll see what I'm talking about. If you can get one with the look as your post I think it would look great but I think the standard fit for the Ava doesn't look wide enough.
Ok. Time to revive this thread. Gimmee opinions about these with some 33" tires and a 3" body lift.
35" and body lift + leveling kit =
personnally, I like these rims .... and I'd get the black sections painted blue to match my truck ....
Here's the one with the 5.5" backspacing Notice the difference in the lip and the slope of the spokes. I'm going with the 5.5.
The one you picked has the center bore drilled for a Toyota but it is supposed to come with a 78mm to 106 mm centering ring adapter. Just make sure they are included. With +12mm offset and 5.5" backspacing that should give you around 3" of wheel depth appearance.
