Topic: Changing out the front bumber cover - how hard?

Hi Everyone,

My 2002 AV has some bad tears in the front bumper cover to where I cannot repair them. So I need to replace it. I've seen them averaging at $190 on sites and $140 on ebay.  How hard is it to change out?  I plan on changing it and then painting everything with some fusion paint which I read about on here in other posts.

not hard to take off at all. there are several bolts on bottom and then the top center is the hardest part to shimmy out back and forth and its off!

LMCTruck.com has discounted prices for factory replacement bumpers and other hardware.  I plan on buying pre-primed front and rear bumpers from there.  I dunno if I want to have them painted to match the body, or paint them satin black by myself.  if i paint them myself, I would be using liquid sander, 2 coats rust over primer, 2 coats undercoating, and 2 coats satin black.  they would be impervious to the elements! YAYY!!!
