Been meaning to try it on my gatorbacked black AV but can't seem to find it locally.  When it dews, rains, does it runoff or does it hold for a while??

Armor All Tire Shine.

Spray on, Wipe to cover evenly, looks great and holds the shine well.  Also easy to wipe clean when you do get stuff on it.

Blue,

Your truck would look totaly sick with sch-mooove painted sails and cargo covers.

Since you already don't have the lower cladding it should be quite a bit easier ( less expensive )

Can't wait to see the new hood and the black chrome.

Are you going to try and re-create the flame ralley stripes?

Went to the dealer today about the panels and such fading and zebra striping, they are going to fix it under warranty but they don't use the gatorback system. they said they have had problems with gatorbacking and are using another company out of Texas (once I find out the name of the stuff they are using I'll post to see if anyone else knows of it.) that will remedy this problem. They said they will need the Av for 2 days but will supply me with another Av while mine is down. Maybe I can try out one of the new 07's. :fast:

They are probably talking about Armor-Dillo and that is just a temporary fix.  The dealer probably doesn't want to go through the process of painting your cladding with the Gatorback.

It isn't armour dillo, I made sure of that, They said all the cladded pieces will be removed an then cleaned then shot with a coating. He said the steps are all most exactly like gatorbacking, thats why it will take a couple of days to get my Av back.

Mine will be when the cladding starts to look like crap . . . still hasn't happened yet.   Maybe I should leave it out in the sun all day and not wash it.

plain ole soap and water for mine.  I'll put Armor All on it for a show, but then it gets washed off right after.  Upper cladding is from an EXT, so its smooth and painted.  Just bought the door pieces from a Valanca kit so it looks like mine will eventually all be painted.  For now, I'm stuck with GB on the lower cladding.

plain ole soap and water for mine.  I'll put Armor All on it for a show, but then it gets washed off right after.  Upper cladding is from an EXT, so its smooth and painted.  Just bought the door pieces from a Valanca kit so it looks like mine will eventually all be painted.  For now, I'm stuck with GB on the lower cladding.
was that the ebay auction you won? if not do you know where i can get the wheel well covers for the valanca style? i've emailed valanca twice and no reply!
someone bought the fender pieces from Valanca on cafcna.  Seems like the paid close to $1K just for the pieces around the wheels.  might want to try calling them.  I think they will sell pieces as needed.

yeah, I got the door pieces off of ebay for $100 shipped.

Found out today the the service adviser was all messed up and they are using Gatorback on my cladded parts. They have it scheduled next Tuesday and should get it back by Thursday. At least they are not  :ass05: me around about it and doing it under warranty.  :thumb:

Im sure they will do a god job with the GBack.  I have seen it personally and whata difference the darker color can make in an AV.  Good luck!
