Never heard of the brand. Im amazed how HID's have come down in price. 4 yrs ago i remember they where $600.i paid $150 for mine 2 yrs ago, unknown manufacturer and they still work today.I think OBB purchased a set very cheap too and they still work. I'd say go for it...... ...i have wasted more than $40 at the strip joint with nothing in return.
Sounds like you may have left with some Hard feelings. B
I'm thinking about the 5000's for all three (lows, highs & fogs) of mine. I've also been ready that it's probably a good idea to go with the relays and harness, any thought here? Thanks again!
Im confused. Why do you need relays and harness? The kit is Plug n play.
The relay and harness just provide a better and more consistent power to the ballasts, especially at start up. If the ballasts get freaky, the relay will help save the rest of your electrical. On a set of HID's I installed on my Avy, the ballasts hosed my battery in about 30 seconds. NOT good. The DDM 6000's I have installed now on low work REALLY good and the relay just adds a nice comfort factor for me.I do not have the wiring harness for the fogs and they aren't installed yet, but I don't have them full-on all the time anyway. Startup seems to be the big issue, and the lows always come on in my garage in the morning. If I add the HID high beams, then I'll relay them up too.BTW, anybody have H10 bulbs in 6000k they want to trade for 880's (cladded) in 6000k?
I know TrAV was talking about setting up a group buy for the HID's, I also know he has been working on the national meet for next year, is this still a go?
side note....it only gets driven once a week I paid $60 for mine last year and no problems so far. I went with the 6000's Hidgate on ebay was the seller but I havn't checked lately to see if he still sells them.
The Tennessee folks had a group buy a few months ago and I have lows, highs and fogs. They are plug and play and couldn't be happier. I'll get you the information if interested. It was around $50/set. I have 6K lows/fogs and 8K highs.
I still want to replace the park/turn signal and the DRL/fog housings.
For clear ones?
If you don't mind getting the info that would be great!! I'm trying to get my ducks in a row on what I want for HID's, I still want to replace the park/turn signal and the DRL/fog housings.

Thanks!! What did you go with, slim or standard and why?
Ya, inquiring minds want to know. From the little that I just read it seems that the slim would be better, but I don't know.
Anyone, anyone have the slim design ballasts, if so how well do they hold up and dissipate the heat? Thanks!
I've got the slims and where I mounted them will ensure they get cool air while driving. When I add the fogs, they'll be mounted in a similar location to get good airflow. When I add the hi/lo H4's to my Jeep Wrangler, mounting will be an issue for temp regulation, so I'll likely opt for the standards if they fit where I intend to mount them. I'm using my slimline ballast on my Jeep to see where I'd mount (test fitting).
My HID's are from DDMTuning. But I imagine the slims very similar. There are several mounting options around the headlights where I don't think heating would be an issue. I just chose that location as a way to keep the most heat away from them - it seemed almost made for ballasts. I didn't want to tempt fate with overheating. Standard ballasts would probably fit there too. There enough space that even if they didn't fit, you could probably just trim some of the plastic gussets with a dremel and have it all fit.
FINALLY got the fogs installed.6000K color... sorry for the lousy cell phone pic.
