I need one diamond tread step plate.
« on: September 22, 2009, 10:39:08 AM »

This is a long shot but would anyone happen to have a metal diamond tread step plate for the drivers side in the rear bumper.  The little one inside the bumper. I lost one.

I don't care if it's chrome, natural aluminum, or black.  The finish on my other plates is not good so I'm wanting to remove, sand, and paint them all black but I need the one that I lost.

I know it's not normal for someone to remove a mod but I thought that maybe someone had damaged one of the other plates and either removed the set or got a complete set and only needed part of it.

That would be SOOOOO awesome.  I really didn't think that I had a snowball chance in hell of finding just one and I have given away my factory plastic ones.

The body shop that replaced my bumper will paint them for me since they left the one loose that fell off but I have to find one.  I'm in no hurry but it's great to know that there is one out there.

Guys, I don't really care where I get one from.  I just need one metal drivers side bumper step that can be sanded and painted.  I just don't want anyone to break up a full set.  I'll be glad to pay for the one that I need.  I just hate to buy a full set of steps when I only need one of the two smallest ones.

It doesn't matter if it's chrome, black or natural AL.  I also don't care if the bolt on or stick on type.  If it can be painted, it great with me.

I guess that I could go back to plastic ones and paint those but I would have to have both sides since I gave mine away.  I would rather get the one metal one if I can.
