2003 factory radio/6 disc cd player
« on: August 15, 2009, 06:50:13 PM »
I was wondering if anyone could help me on getting my radio out of dash.  I can get the dash cover and the bolts holding the radio in out but it seams to still be stuck in there any help would be appreciated.

There are a lot of wires back there that make it difficult to pull out. Once you have the dash bezel off you will see most of the wires towards the left looking beside the radio. You can try to "push/feed" those wire with your left hand while wiggling the radio with your right hand. Don't yank on it or you could damage the wires. It'll be a tight fit to get it back in there once you're done also.

It shouldnt be stuck.

   1. Remove the cluster bezel.
   2. Remove the screws (1).
   3. Pull out the radio assembly slightly in other to gain access to the connectors.
   4. Disconnect the wire connectors.
   5. Disconnect the coaxial cable from the radio.
   6. Remove the radio assembly from the I/P.
