Roof Rack Removal Mod
« on: September 06, 2009, 02:07:42 AM »
Was cruising around Car Domain and looking at the various AV setups and this is definitely my next mod...roof rack removal.  I think it makes the AV's lines look cleaner.  My AV is scheduled to go into the shop to match paint the front and rear Chevy emblems, door handles and mirrors, as well as the upper/lower sails, storage bin tops, and tailfin.  I'm sure the body shop can fill in the roof rack bolt holes and repaint the roof to give in a smooth surface.

Curious if anyone else has performed the roof rack removal mod and if they can provide some close up pics.  Thanks.

Before.....

After...

I'll bet they can fill the holes with weld, smooth and paint, but you may want to consider using some sort of plug.
