Keep modding girl. Dustin will never recognize it when he gets home.

Sometime in the near future I hope to gatorback it. I have the gator back and a paint gun but unfortunately no paint booth and I dont have a drive way at my apartment so cant pitch a tent but #7 is likely to help with that issue. After I gatorback it (im going black) I am gonna redo the letters in silver over it.

A couple of different ways to do it. lightly sand the surface, mask the hell out of it and use some Krylon Fusion, some nail polish (not the best result) or even a paint marker (again, not the best results close up). Plan on it taking a while to mask it off though. There's a lot of letters and small areas to cut. A good exacto knife works best.

So basically mask it with masking tape, use the exacto blade to carve the letters out exactly then hit it with krylon fusion?

Yup, make sure you tape the whole area around where you're painting also so you don't get overspray where you don't want to.

I didn't mask it or use fusion. I used the Testors Paint pens and just sat there and colored it by hand.

Wonder if you could use the Plasti-Dip spray for a mask, then Exacto out what you want to paint, then peal Plasti-Dip off?
