Painted My Rims
« on: September 01, 2009, 03:30:10 PM »
So I decided that I got tired of the silver factory rims and decided to paint them. It took me about 4 hours but I think they look a lot nicer. I painted them because I havent been able to find a nice set of rims that I would want to buy. Well here are the pics that me and my boy took during the whole process.

Here are the side pics taken the next day.

They are all done and are back on my baby now.

LOL Howd ya know? LOL It was Dupli Color Wheel Paint. And next time it will be started earlier. I am going to be getting other tires for it soon. Probably about a month or so and I will be getting A/T tires.

If you let me know what color I can probably get it for you and mail it. I mail internationally with USPS flat rate boxes all the time and its like $30 to ship it.

My first thought when I seen the close up of the wheel was the Lone Ranger. :cheesy1:

I think they look really nice on the black truck.
Great idea. :yourock:

That's cuz thats how us Marines roll You know that LOL. Just make sure you tape them off really well or it will get screwed up. The first one I did the tape was not cut clean so it has a fuzzy look so i had to acetone the shit out of it and redo it.
