New Brute Force Air Induction System
« on: December 19, 2006, 08:16:53 PM »

Rating:   5 stars

All AEM BRUTE FORCE induction systems now include AEMs revolutionary DRYFLOW synthetic performance air filter, the first performance air filter that does not require oiling to filter and trap dirt and contaminants!

DRYFLOW Key Features:
• The DRYFLOW Synthetic filter’s unique non-woven polyester filter media is independently tested at over 98% initial filtration efficiency (99.4% cumulative efficiency) based on SAE J276 JUN93 Fine Dust Air Cleaner Test Code procedures. Oiled filter initial efficiency is typically 90% to 95% efficient.
• The DRYFLOW Synthetic filter delivers superior filtration and equal performance (compared to an oiled filter) on every BRUTE FORCE intake tested!
• AEM’s unique non-woven filter media never needs oil! This means less down time between cleanings and no more chance of over-oiling.
• A neutral gray filter color complements our mirror-polished and silver powdercoat finishes, and hides the dirt that it keeps out of your engine.
• A mineral reinforced plastic interior cage increases structural rigidity—it’s virtually impossible to collapse, even on Diesels! No mesh screen means no more filter damage from bumps during installation or cleaning and no corrosion damage.
• Element is cleanable and is Guaranteed for Life! (Filter Cleaning Solution included)
• Will NOT void your vehicle’s warranty!

AEM BRUTE FORCE intakes are designed for popular trucks, SUVs and musclecars, and are dyno-tested to create more torque and horsepower than any other intake for large displacement engines. At AEM, our mechanical engineers emphasize tuning the resonance properties of the inlet pipe to help carry more air to the intake valves. We use aluminum piping for this, because plastic absorbs some of the sound energy we manipulate to create power, and mild steel is heavy and can rust. We route our plumbing so that the filter draws air from the safest and coolest location, and provide a carbon-black powdercoated steel heat shield to shroud the filter from engine heat and road dirt. We emphasize maximum flow without sacrificing low-end torque, and offer the best performance air filter available in the DRYFLOW Synthetic filter. Every BRUTE FORCE intake we make is submitted to C.A.R.B. for 50-state exemption, and we guarantee them for life.

Induction System Key Features:
- Outperforms every other system on the market
- Includes exclusive AEM Power Spacer to maximize performance (when applicable)
- Constructed of mandrel-bent, 6061 aluminum with reinforced TIG-welded brackets and fittings for added durability
- AEMs Revolutionary DRYFLOW Synthetic Performance Air Filter now included with every kit. – 99.4% cumulative filtration efficiency, NO MORE OILING!
- Utilizes a complete hardware kit with soft mounts for a guaranteed perfect fit
- Powdercoated steel heat shield included
- Designed, manufactured and assembled in the U.S.A.
- Every BRUTE FORCE system is C.A.R.B. exempt or pending C.A.R.B. exemption
- Limited lifetime warranty
- Filter cleaning kit included with every brute force intake system

Notes:
We test every AEM BRUTE FORCE intake against our competitors, and guarantee their performance for the life of your vehicle.

AEM Power Spacers feature a straight-shot design that creates more power than spacers with screw-type inlets. The Power Spacer is included ONLY in BRUTE FORCE systems when increasing plenum volume increases performance. If your kit does not have one, you don’t need it. Because we include them in the kits where they make power, they are not sold separately.

Yes, I don't have any experience with the new dry filters but I like the idea and it's a good looking piece.

2011 Silverado, Ext Cab Z-71 5.3, 6L80, Airaid CAI, Magnaflow cat-back, and a little tuning by me and HPT.

Gone but not forgotten, 2002 Victory red. The quickest lifted 4x4 AV in the US in it's day.
