Topic: New speakers for my 02!!

I'm in the process of finally upgrading my factory sound system but I need some suggestions.  I've pretty much decided I'm going with the JVC Arsenal KD-AHD59 head unit but I need help with the speakers.  What are the factory speakers and are they component? The kid at Best Buy suggested I go with a 2-way for all four doors but the more I read on speakers I wonder if I should go with component in the front and something else in the rear??  I'm open to suggestions on what I should go with, brands, models, etc.......   I wasn't originally planning to go with an amp but the more I read I think I will.  Once again the kid from Best Buy tried to talk me into an Alpine 4-channel but the more I read I should go with something cheaper for the speakers and something more expensive if I would go with a sub??  Keep in mind the sub is not in the mix at this time.  I was thinking about a Kenwood amp for the speakers??
I'm open to all All suggestions, I don't know a great deal when it comes to sound systems.
