Old, shmold...
I had one of these expensive vaults. Worked great and I kept a spare set of keys in it, "just in case".
They are not durable though. A quick pop on the side with a hammer would probably open it. Mine met its end on a rock in Moab, Utah. Scrubbed the hitch coming down and the face popped right off  :thumbdown: I'm not doing that again.
