Damn that looks great btw,,,,did you ever get those rear monitors working
No, I am waiting on you to fix them at the next GTG we meet up at
Where did you get it done at , Chux?
Very saweeeeet!!!! What gear ratio are you running? Does acceleration suck off the line now??Did you do any of the work yourself? I did the torsion bar keys and rear coil spring spacers on mine but I was wondering about the body lift?Great job!!!!!!
Looks good.So when are you going to lift the Chevrolla?
If they made a kit for it, I'd seriously think about it
It is stock gearing and yes could use a new gear. A little doggy now but with all the money I just spent won't be replacing gears anytime soon. As far as the body lift goes I had one on my 02 for several years before I sold it and liked it. So I did it again with this AV-it's a heck of a lot cheaper to go this route and I think I am sitting pretty close to where I would be had I gone with a 6" suspension.
Looks great Darren,Give us verticaly challenged a breakdown on what we could expect, out of pocket, to get ours off the ground.B
From the one pic which shows the front tire, it appears you still have the original Bilstein's in place?? I would think you will over extend the stock shocks and blow out the seals?
This shop charged $350 for the body lift + $300 install. Some places were quoting $800 for the install so you want to shop around. What kills you is the rubber and don't ask how much that was....
With a body lift you shouldn't affect the shocks at all. They are attached to the suspension. I'm still not showing Gina your pics.
Correct but he put the 2" Readylift up front, just keep an eye on the stock length Bilstein's. You should be good on the rear with the stock shocks since you didn't do anything back there. Enjoy, she looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
very nice setup darren! going to show it off at dinner on the 14th?
