Topic: Have been kinda cuerious about this...keeping it stock, lifted or lowered?

Stock for now.. I wanted to lift my 08 but living so close to the City and going in all the time
It's just harder to find parking in a garage or driving around here they don't like lifted trucks that much.
I have a friend who moved down to Va just because he wanted his F-350 higher...

Now that's a can of worms to open. Man, I don't really know what I would do to mine if I wasn't cranking all the miles on it. (that and an extended warranty I don't know if it would void.) Fowlhunter has the front of his leveled and it looks great. BlueDevil's is lowered and is sweet but it doesn't see snow that often. Earthquake has one sweet lifted ride. Lots of choices.

Mike (OBB) pretty much covered it, I've got mine leveled and lifted!!  Furd torsion bar adjusting keys in the front with longer (KYB) shocks (raised about 2-1/2" up front) and 1-1/2" coil springs spacers with longer (KYB) shocks in the rear. I still have a rake (Higher in the back) in my Av!!  I'm also running the BFGoodrich LT285/70R17 tires in a load range D (8ply).  My ride is a little stiffer than stock but still pretty nice, all things considered.

LOL, yeah, I figured it would, but again its has to do with where you live, how you use it, recreation uses, driving habits and mostly individual preference                                individual preference                                 individual preference
I'm not a big fan of lowered vehicles, however, some do look pretty damn sharp.  

We do own a pretty universal vehicle, and actually looks great however it sits.  One of the few trucks out there that can roll off the lot, and has a pretty bad ass stock "stance" to it.

I like both: Lifted & lowered and both WBH & Cladded AV's all years.

...but always thought that the cladded looks badass lifted with some 35's.  It makes the clad stand out and it looks rugged. .........Super-sized

The WBH in the other hand,doesnt look anything like the cladded.  Its more pristine/pavement princess if you ask me.  
Therefore the WBH looks good lowered.  Lifted,would look just like another Silverado.....including the 07's and up.

....just my opinion.

Very true...yes, my girl friend is making me get some nerf bars or steps, shes gotta "climb" in...thats the main reason I got a 4" instead of going higher...prob still get 35's when I get my new wheels...:)

My opinion is the only american "street vehicle" that should have ever be lowered is a '49 Mercury!    A truck is a truck.

I agree, cladded was born to look rugged but lifting it also involves losing some handling. I'm thinking more about my center of gravity on snow and ice. I'd love to lift mine but I've had an Avalanche since June 2001, first '02 but now '04 but BFG AT KOs tires look decent and perform well.

I'm sure the AV would perform as well on ice for me lifted, as long as I don't get it sideways.

I don't think I would have tried passing in turn at Nashville Super Speedway at 90 mph if my truck had been lifted.
