BLACK, BLACK, BLACK!!! Both of my trucks are Onyx Black and I wouldn't have it any other way. It does take a lot of maintence though. I went out and bought a buffer and three different pads, two different compounds and two waxes to keep up with the swirls and scratches. Making it look perfect is like therapy for me! ;D

Yea, sport red is bold.....Sport Red Metallic must not have been a choice at the time. And I must have been half asleep when I did it because I normally always make some statement when I answer a survey so I know I already answered it. (did that make any sense?)

LPM can look silver or grey, the first production AV was an LPM. Most advertising in '01 showed LPM or Onyx Black trucks.

Mine is a sport red and it's metallic. Many metallic colors change under different lighting, not as extreme as Bermuda Blue which is a special chameleon color. Sport Red looks marroon, purple or in low light black like Dark Blue and Dark Grey do. Chameleon metal flake colors were available in the '70s or earlier from skilled custom painters, it was alot of work with mutiple coats of separate colors.

ohiobellboy, we had quite the color range with 16 AVs at the parade in Vermontville a week back didn't we ?
It reminded me of the Indiana BBQ where we had 12-14 all cladded trucks and none the same color.

Crawling along in the parade I overheard some remarks from the crowd watching.
One woman said, "Just look at them, they are all different"

It wasn't just the mods, we had a clear variety of colors from '02 to '08

POLL has White Diamond listed twice and no Dark Green ? Also SOM II should be listed below SOM, Sunset Orange and Sunburst Orange are very different colors. Variety is the spice of life.

Thanks oHIobellboy. I had to special order my AV with that color because I wanted the cashmere interior to go with it. Every dealer had ebony interior within 300 miles of home when I wanted to buy. The only one that had the colors I wanted at the time was a fully loaded LTZ at $52K.
