« on: May 02, 2009, 08:20:12 AM »
Well, I finally found a deal on HPT. I just bought Loggie's from TOS. Now the fun begins! I have a feeling I'll be pestering a couple of members around here while I'm learning. (cough, Main One, cough KYBob)

I've thought about it also but with Monte getting my fans running through the Predator, I've shelved the idea for now.  Good luck with it.

WHERE IT REALLY IS ABOUT THE FRIENDS AND AVY'S, AND NOT THE ALMIGHTY ADVERTISING DOLLAR!

I've had some hard thoughts on this too.  It really POes me that DS doesn't support uprades a little cheaper......

OBB, did you let him tune you up yet??  :jacked:  Sorry!

I would really like to log with HPT and see what the Av is really doing.....

Do a log and look at a histogram of LTFTs against MAP and RPM.  I think one comes as an example, if Loggie didn't redefine it, it would be #3.

I look to get mine between +0.5 and -4.5.

18x10 Forged Weld Wheels, BFG g-Force KDWs, JBA shorties, custom catback with FM70, Crane plug wires, Trailblazer Torque Converter, bigger cam, efans, HP Tuners custom tune, WAAG stuff, mildly boosted with Vortech Supercharger.......

I just bought the software on Saturday morning and doubt Loggie has shipped it yet. I'll also have to buy a new laptop since the ones we have are so old they don't even have curent USB ports on them. We've been looking for an excuse to buy a new laptop since before Christmas.

LOL I've got the opposite laptop problem.  My HPTuners interface is so old that it doesn't have a USB port - it has a serial port which the newer laptops often don't have any more.  I have to run it through a port replicator.

Got an interesting story regarding a serial cable going bad and disabling Murman's AV along a Kentucky highway during his going away gtg........

It seems that I remember something about that, like the hour we spend on the side of the road rewriting his computer.

OK, maybe it wasn't an hour but it was a while.

2011 Silverado, Ext Cab Z-71 5.3, 6L80, Airaid CAI, Magnaflow cat-back, and a little tuning by me and HPT.

Gone but not forgotten, 2002 Victory red. The quickest lifted 4x4 AV in the US in it's day.

Bob, I think it was more like 2 hours.  Of course at first it was just me and Murman.......
