Topic: New tires for the Buffalo

I finally bit the bullet and put some new tires on the Avalanche today.  I put Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armour Pros (10 ply) on it.  Don't ask how much!   

The bad part of the story is that when we got the tires off we found the driverside front shock was leaking oil everywhere and the passenger side had already leaked and was coated in black goop and the rears were starting to rust through.   

I ended up installing KBY MonoMax shocks.  Again don't ask the cost!   

At least the Buffalo rides nice now and so far I like the feel of the new setup.   

Now I'm broke!

So true!  She is priceless to me and so is the Momma!

Hey, do some price checking on the tires and shocks.  You are just a little low!     Remember to price the Pro series, alignment, and labor! 

Trust me.....you'll hear me hollering if they start to suck!!      

ps

I fixed the front shock boots.  I think what happened was the tech tiewrapped the boot in place before lower the AV off the rack so, they got all sqaushed up at the top of the shock like that...

YES IT IS!!!!   And the tires don't make any more noise than the OEMs did!   

This thing sticks to curves like glue now when I compare it to past performances...
