New tires for the Buffalo
« on: May 01, 2009, 04:07:14 PM »
I finally bit the bullet and put some new tires on the Avalanche today.  I put Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armour Pros (10 ply) on it.  Don't ask how much!   :blink1:

The bad part of the story is that when we got the tires off we found the driverside front shock was leaking oil everywhere and the passenger side had already leaked and was coated in black goop and the rears were starting to rust through.    :needhug:

I ended up installing KBY MonoMax shocks.  Again don't ask the cost!    :dunno:

At least the Buffalo rides nice now and so far I like the feel of the new setup.   :fast:

Now I'm broke!    :tickedoff:
