$20/5 months or $77/yr offered today
« on: April 29, 2009, 12:18:51 PM »
Got a call from XM asking me to rejoin at the rate of $20 for 5 months or $77 for the year. I took the five month deal, but the $77 deal is a good one too.

what a bunch of BS XM is ...

they would not give us any offers until we actually said "we want to cancel our account" .... then all of sudden we could get the offers ....

we got $77 for the truck for a year and $20 for 5 months on the car ....

this after our qtr payment went up another $9 dollars for "music royality fees" ....

what a crock .... wife was on the phone with them for over 30 minutes .... grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

sounds like my cable ordeal... my cable bill doubled and they said the only way I can reduce my pricing is to add more features?? HUH?  I'm thinking of moving back to DirecTv - get my Sunday Ticket back.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend, but she left me before we met.

Mike ...

they are one and the same company now .... if she already has an account with them ... all she needs to do is call and say "I want to cancel my account" ..... then the person will put her on hold and come back in a minute or two ... then she needs to tell the person on the phone that she wants the "winback" special .... that will get her the 77 for a year .... or she can take the 5 months for $20 total ....

If she is not currently a subscriber then she cannot get the deal .... it will be whatever special they are running a the moment ....

I'll try and call her later ... not sure when ... Wife wants to go she grandma at the home tonight ..... maybe have her just call the house when she gets home .... we are gonna eat at home before going to see her ....

John
