gotcha! :thumbup: now im thinking of this.. what if i mount it  above the plate... like leave the plate alone and just pre-drill holes above the bracket... the plastic cladding would give it support and id simply put some washers and bolts and nuts to keep it in place.... like OBB said if i ever get pulled over and they mention it im gonna play the dumb card.


You could cut a bracket out of old decorative tag and attach to the tag bolt holes behind the tag and raise the camera up just enough to clear the "Indiana" and probably be OK if it will clear the tailgate when lowered.

Hows it going? i I really wouldnt worry about it. Like you said just play the dumb card if they do pull you over. I mean it really is a saftey item. Just make sure you respectful to him/her. it will go long ways.

very true brotha... sadly ive had a few run in with the law......ok maybe out runs from the law lol....not in my truck lol my previous cars.... not gonna get too far in this thing
