 I would just come up to I-70 at Marshall Junction and fall in with you. Sweet Springs is about 10 miles further west than Marshall Junction. Just pm me some cell #'s and we'll keep in touch. What time are you leaving Quincy?

My wife feels a bit weird staying in someone else's house.
Not sure why, but that's how it is.
Heck, I'd sleep in a barn for all I care.

We are about 40 miles east of Jeff's on Hwy 50 and they just opened up a brand new Holiday Inn Express here. We also have a Comfort Inn and a few others that are pretty nice hotels. Other than that, the only thing on I-70 heading east would be around Columbia besides your small town hotels along the way.

Just checked the long ranger and it is going to be 48 degrees and sunny on Sat.    Massive heat wave compared to what it's been the past month

I know it is 2 1/2 hours from here to Kirksville. If you leave at 8 you'd probably be at Marshall Junction around 11 ish and that should be good to get to Jeff's by noon.

H is a little off the path, but was rated good and priced right.
