I was asking because I realized the kids have bball games that day, one at noon and the other at 2pm.  I can probably come over in the morning and help but would have to leave and won't be back until a little after 3pm.  Go ahead and put me on the list.  I'll let you know what I am bringing later.

Not sure if I can make it Jeff - I might be in California then.  I'm my granddaughter's guardian when both parents are gone, and their Mom is in San Diego till next August, and Phil might be sent out on the ship for two weeks the end of January.  So, if I can get off work, I'll be in California.  If I can't, then I'll be at Fire & Ice with my two granddaughters...

Snow?  Yea, Today, tomorrow and Wednesday.  Nothing too bad I don't think.  Sides, snow never slowed us down.  It snowed on Friday night while I made ribs and brisket for my family GTG this weekend.  20 slabs of ribs and 4 briskets in close to zero degree weather with a nippy wind chill.  The smoke times got thrown off by a few hours all around due to the cold.  No biggie, now I have it figured out for this weekend!!!!

 I would just come up to I-70 at Marshall Junction and fall in with you. Sweet Springs is about 10 miles further west than Marshall Junction. Just pm me some cell #'s and we'll keep in touch. What time are you leaving Quincy?

We are about 40 miles east of Jeff's on Hwy 50 and they just opened up a brand new Holiday Inn Express here. We also have a Comfort Inn and a few others that are pretty nice hotels. Other than that, the only thing on I-70 heading east would be around Columbia besides your small town hotels along the way.

I know it is 2 1/2 hours from here to Kirksville. If you leave at 8 you'd probably be at Marshall Junction around 11 ish and that should be good to get to Jeff's by noon.
