cladding problems
« on: December 31, 2008, 11:23:32 PM »
I have spent nearly two days on the internet researching Gatorback and Armor-dilla to find out what options work best. I have bad oxidation on my cladding, but it seems impossible to get two opinions that are the same on either product. Some swear by one brand and then someone else says it is crap and won't do what the manufactor says. I have used Turtle Wax Ice polish with temporary results but nothing long lasting. What was this sites overall agreement was the best option?

I dont have cladded myself but to me it seems Gatorback its the prefered. Can be done by the dealer under warranty or a experienced bodyshop as its a sprayed on application.

Budget-wise,some choose to use the "Finish Restorer". Cheaper and promoted by hand and it looks very good.

I love that Refinish Restorer 6 months and still looking great  A few spots on the bed panel where they were really bad before might need touched up, but other than that it's pretty awesome.

Here's a link to read about it on here.
