Today i went to Auto Zone to pick up another vise-grip to work on the throttle body and found this Pilot UnderBody Blue Neon set for $100 on sale. Well.... call me "impulsive buyer" hehehehe, i bought them

Medium Vise-Grip = $7
Blue Neon Set = $100
Another mod to do = Priceless

Ok. Today i didnt have time to mess with the tubes. I got held up by other mods (hood,TB).

Anyways........ where do i place this power inlet/outlet module? inside or outside?

I'd say your best bet with that is inside somewhere (maybe behind the driver's side kick panel) . . . could get wet if you put it under the hood somewhere.

Yeah..the tube in the tail is attached to the bed. I couldnt find a lower point to attach tube.

Yup exactly where mine is mounted, I'll probably lower it when I mount the 2nd tube back there.

How about a Smiley-faced sticker for the first person to make and share a drop down bracket for the locationally challenged back light tube?

( the wheels are turning now, just need some extra time to figure out the details )

All you need is angle brackets (just longer then these)

to mount where the tube is mounted now and you can attach the loops that grab the tube right to one end and it'll be lower

That a good idea. Will you have trouble taking out your spare tire if you do that?

That a good idea. Will you have trouble taking out your spare tire if you do that?

Doubt it, all you have to do is make sure your spare has a clear path straight down and you shouldn't have any issues

It took me 'bout 3 hrs but i still have the switch hanging by the firewall. I havent had a chance to relocate it.

the idea with the angle brackets is good except you will have to put a bar from side to side otherwise you will get alot of movement in the tube and will over time break they are designed to be mounted firmly ---- on have mine lowered just behind the hitch and can still lower the spare here are few pics of mine and you may even see that i have two sets of neon

oh yeah and if they are neon not led they dont like the cold at all and can burn them out trying to light all the neon ( found out the hard way ) anythng below 40 i dont even think about turning mine on

Got my new switch a little while back. This one has a Blue LED when in "ON" position.

The factory switch was just too plain for my likings :thumb:

Sweet, I have yet to find a switch that I like so I can start making a switch panel for all the lights.

O'reilys have them for $6. ...and other LED colors too.
