Intimidatoruag will be moving his nephew to Richmond, IN on the 24th of Jan and would like to meet up with a few of us for dinner. He's thinking about 4 o'clock there at the Golden Corral.

Didit

A few of us are going to meet at Cambridge City exit 137 on I70 at the Amish Cheese Shop 2001 SR 1 N, at 11:30. Amish cheese, fresh baked pies, breads and cookies. Gift packs and special orders available , get your goodies here! Its one block off the exit follow the signs easy to find.

Then we are cruising to the:

Warm Glow Candle Company at exit 145 on I70 you can see it from the interstate. They have quite the assortment of Indiana made candles and some that aren't, lol. Holiday decorations year round, flowers, pets accessories, just all kinds of goodies for the ladies and maybe even some for the guys!

Then we are cruising to the:

Wayne County Historical Museum in Richmond approximately 1:30 its at 1150 N "A" St. It boasts curiostities from around the world: authentic Egyptian mummy, Gaar-Scott Steam Engines, Starr-Gennett Jazz Collection, Davis Airplane, Wooten desk, pioneer life exhibits, the early automobile collection of Richmond-made cars and much more! There are approximately 18 old cars on exhibit. There is an admission to this museum, it is as follows: 5 bucks, 4.50 with AAA, 4 bucks for seniors, 2 bucks for students and under six free.
(I failed to mention the cars are all "Richmond Made Cars" I didn't realize that any cars were manufactured in Richmond so needless to say this should be interesting, I have no idea what they are or what they are called)

Then we are cruising to the:

Golden Corral 3625 E Main for dinner with Intimidatoruag and his nephew for dinner at 4 pm!

BTW I asked John if he would need help in unloading or anything, at this time his nephew is only bringing his bedroom stuff, so they should be able to handle that, lol.

"glow n show" after dinner, it should be dark or close to it! Bring your "glow" and light er up!

we're gonna make it a one day trip. We might be conned into staying Sat night if you come over.

I'd have to find place with an indoor pool so the kids would have something to do.

Bad news guys, I chipped a tooth

and the only apointment I can get at my dentist is the 24th at noon

I'm not sure I'll be up for a GTG after having dental work done so I'll have to back out of this one.

One week exactly from this very hour, we will be leaving on our journey to the east, 1st stop at the cheese shop for some Amish cheese, then on to the candle shop for a good waxing, then to the museum to see a mummy and Richmond made cars, gotta love it, then to dinner at the Golden Corral with our AV family, who's next............extended forecast, sunny and 72!

FYI in between the time we leave the Candle Co and arrive at the Museum, there should be time to stop at a gas station or a drive by at McDonalds for those that need gassing or a quick burger, some people are able to achieve both at McDonalds! lmbo

Load up your GPS's, 2 days to go, if the address is not listed in the first thread its definately on the link to that particular place. If you've noticed all of the stops are within a short distance of one another, first being exit 137, 2nd being exit 145, third exit 151 then on to the Golden Corral.

What a wonderful and successful day! A few of us met up at the Cheese Shop to see "Uncle Kenny" the proprietor, then we went on to the Candle Shop where we met up with OBB who unwittingly parked next to an AV on the back row, thinking perhaps a member already in the store, lol. NOT Have no idea who it was and did not tag it, however there was another Sunburst in the lot that we tagged. Drove thru a blinding snowstorm (4 minutes, hehe) to the Museum, I was awestruck at the acquisitions a small town Museum had, just awesome! Then drove to the park to see the Modonna of the Trail statue and then on to Golden Corral for fun and eats. I'm not sure (it was cold out) but I think we ended up with 18 AV's in the parking lot. Heres the pics I have, enjoy!

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey, I went to come to one awhile back I was going to leave work and meet them on my dinner break and the guest of honor was a couple hours late. Been lookin forward to meeting you OBB but I have been real busy workin on the Impala getting things ready for next summer. I put a heater core in it this weekend.
