Did a little maintenance today!!

Well, it was time for an oil change today according to what the DIC told per the Oil Lifecyle Meter.  With that being said, out came the ramps, up went the Av, the wheels were chalked, and the oil was changed!!  What a great use of time on a Sunday afternoon!!!  :thumbup:

I have the same ones.  The only thing I don't like about them is they slide on smooth surfaces sometimes.  It kills me to think/see how small our oil filters are.  I searched all over today for a longer one and came up with nothing  :wtf:

I agree!!  Those ramps are almost impossible to get to stay in one spot on a concrete floor or blacktop driveway which is why you see my set up off the edge of the driveway.  I've always thought the oil filters for the 5.3 was small too, but I too have yet to find a different sized filter.  :dunno:

My 01 Silverado uses a little bit longer than the Av. I'd say the only way of getting a bigger filter is to get the relocation kit for the fender well.
